Schneider Law Firm, P.A. (“Schneider Law Firm,” “the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of visitors to its website at https://collection.law (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices available to visitors. By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Site. It does not govern information collected through any other channel, including telephone calls, in-person meetings, written correspondence, or the attorney-client relationship itself. Information provided to the Firm in connection with legal representation is governed by the Florida Rules of Professional Conduct, including Rule 4-1.6 (Confidentiality of Information), and the attorney-client and work-product privileges, not by this Policy.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide Voluntarily: We use the collected information primarily for our own internal purposes, such as providing, maintaining, evaluating, and improving our services and website, fulfilling requests for information, and providing customer support.
Information Collected Automatically: When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by our hosting platform (Squarespace). This information may include:
• Internet Protocol (IP) address and approximate geographic location derived from it;
• Browser type, browser language, and operating system;
• Device type, screen resolution, and device identifiers;
• Pages visited, time spent on each page, and the page from which you arrived (referrer URL);
• Date and time of access; and
• Other usage data generated by your interaction with the Site.
Cookies and Similar Technologies: The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, including cookies that are necessary for Site functionality and cookies used for analytics and performance. These technologies may be provided by Squarespace and its service providers. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect Site functionality. For more information about cookies used in connection with Squarespace-hosted websites, please review Squarespace's current cookie disclosures at squarespace.com/cookie-policy.
How We Use Information
We use the information collected through the Site for the following purposes:
• To respond to inquiries, requests for information, and consultation requests;
• To evaluate potential conflicts of interest before any attorney-client relationship is formed;
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its functionality;
• To analyze Site traffic, usage patterns, and visitor demographics;
• To comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, and the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar; and
• To protect the rights, property, and safety of the Firm, its clients, and others.
Disclosure of Information
The Firm does not sell, rent, lease, or trade visitor information. We do not share personal information with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. We may disclose information collected through the Site in the following limited circumstances:
• Service providers — to vendors and contractors that provide hosting, analytics, email, and similar services in support of the Site’s operation (including Squarespace and its sub-processors), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• Legal compliance — when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to enforce our rights or defend against claims.
• Business transitions — in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the Firm’s assets, subject to the receiving party’s agreement to protect the information consistently with this Policy.
• With your consent — when you have authorized us to share the information.
Data Security
The Firm maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information collected through the Site against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, consistent with the Florida Information Protection Act, section 501.171, Florida Statutes. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage, however, is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain information collected through the Site for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, comply with applicable legal and ethical obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Sale of Sensitive Personal Data
The Firm does not sell personal information or sensitive personal data collected through the Site.
Confidentiality of Unsolicited Communications
Contacting the Firm through the Site, by email, or by any other electronic means does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship. Do not send highly sensitive, confidential, or time-sensitive information until you have spoken with an attorney at the Firm, the Firm has completed any necessary conflicts review, and the Firm has confirmed in writing that it agrees to represent you. Information sent to the Firm before an attorney-client relationship is established may not be treated as confidential or privileged in all circumstances, particularly if the information is sent unilaterally and without any agreement by the Firm to consider the representation. Sending information to the Firm before acceptance of the representation does not, by itself, preclude the Firm from representing a party adverse to you, subject to applicable law and the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar. See also the Firm's Website Legal Notice and Terms of Use.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 18, and the Firm does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, please contact us using the information in Section 13, and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites operated by parties not affiliated with the Firm. The Firm is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such third-party sites. We encourage visitors to read the privacy policies of every website they visit.
Privacy Rights Under Applicable Law
If applicable law grants you rights with respect to your personal information, such as rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of that information, you may contact the Firm using the information in Section 13. The Firm will respond as required by applicable law.

The Firm may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on the Site with an updated “Effective Date.” Continued use of the Site after such posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
